Ken Telfer
Ken has moonlighted for Fame since May 2003. Prior to this, he used to work as a yak sherpa on the Mongolian steppes where he first met the Dalai Lama. Returning with his holiness to India, he then worked as an assistant coach to the Indian badminton team before travelling to Amazon where he wore nothing but a loin cloth as he lived with an indigenous tribe intent on teaching them chess. After orchestrating the overthrow of the provincial government in the region he was extradited to France to face charges of singing karaoke sober in Lyon. Unfortunately, his flight had to land in Morocco due to a planking episode where Ken then lived as a camel salesman for two years before he swam to Spain and became a concert pianist. He was eventually sacked by trying to introduce polka tunes into his performances. Disheartened, he decided to become a movie star and after major parts in several blockbusters returned in Australia to live out the dream as a trivia host.

Larry Appley
I’ve been hosting Fame Trivia at PJ O’Reilly’s in the city since 2005 and I have to say, I love it! Sure there are times when I go begrudgingly, but by the end of the night, my spirits are lifted and I’m on a bit of a high. A testament I think to the great bunch that come along to PJ’s week after week. By day you’ll find me playing the classic hits on Canberra’s 2CA. Yes it’s on ye olde AM band, but also on digital radio & streaming on-line at www.2ca.com.au. I’m originally from Christchurch, New Zealand but don’t hold that against me or I’ll bring up the under-arm bowling incident. (No, we’ll NEVER forget it!) Australia has been my home since 1992 and in Canberra since 1995 so at least most of the accent has gone but I do occasionally slup up.

Sian Rinaldi
Siân Rinaldi has been hosting trivia since 2010 at the Weston Club. She runs her trivia like she runs her life: minimal rules and mostly on time but only due to significant effort not to be distracted by shiny things. The rules at Weston Club trivia are simple no phones and no picking on Siân about pronunciation, in return she won't pick on you about spelling or handwriting capabilities... these tend to be broken each week, but each week Sian learns, slowly but surely, how to pronounce names and places correctly... apart from Martina Navratilova's name.. but seriously who can pronounce that?! Sadly, we would have hoped Siân's knowledge of geography would have significantly improved since commencing her hosting career, however she has since found not only can you buy a plane ticket to most places in the world, negating the need to actually know where these places are. There are also apps for plane ticket purchasing... not to mention half price coupons available. Siân enjoys pina coladas, getting caught in the rain and the collected works of spermologists worldwide.
